The Manager by Day
By day, I am an IT Manager. My world is one of balancing system uptime, managing difficult users, and keeping a small team focused. I spend nine hours a day ensuring systems stay up and people stay productive.
But my day doesn’t end at 6:00 PM. After the commute, dinner, and getting the kids to bed, my focus shifts. At 10:00 PM, when the house finally goes quiet, I open the charts. I scan my crypto and stock watchlists. I check the order books. This is the world of the 10pm Trader.
The Problem: The Trading Noise
When I first started trading — crypto first, then stocks — I felt like an outsider. Most trading advice is written for:
- Full-time day traders who watch screens for 12 hours a day
- “Moonboys” chasing the latest hype with zero risk management
- Self-proclaimed trading experts who make everything sound so complicated that you’re afraid to even move your money
As a busy professional, I didn’t have time for the noise. I needed a system to trade crypto and stocks that didn’t compromise my sleep, my career, or my hard-earned savings.
Why This Site Exists (The Truth)
I didn’t build this site to be a “guru.” I built it for me.
I’d been building up notes on trading concepts, strategies, platforms and my own trades for a while. At some point it made more sense to put it somewhere structured and accessible rather than keep it buried in a folder on my desktop.
So I set up this site. It’s essentially my personal knowledge base — trading guides, strategy notes, a public trading journal — organised by topic, updated as I learn new things, and open to anyone who finds it useful.
If it helps someone else avoid a mistake I already made, that’s a bonus.
Skin in the Game
I’m not a paid influencer. I trade my own capital — primarily swing trading crypto and stocks — using the exact strategies and security setups I share here. You won’t find “100x” promises here — you’ll find honest trade breakdowns, risk management notes, and reflections on what worked and what didn’t.
From time to time, I might earn a small fee if you sign up for products or platforms through this site, but I will never recommend something that I don’t personally use.
