So you’ve landed on 10pm Trader. Maybe you’re just getting started with trading. Maybe you’ve been at it for a while but feel like you’re still missing something. Either way — welcome.

This page is your map. It tells you what’s on this site, where to begin, and how to get the most out of it without wasting time digging around.

Read This First

Before you look at a single chart or open a single trading account, read this:

Most people who lose money trading don’t lose it because they picked the wrong strategy. They lose it because they weren’t mentally or financially prepared for what trading actually involves.

That’s why I have structured the site this way. We start with mindset and money management — not strategies and setups. If that feels backwards to you, it’ll make sense once you’ve had your first losing trade.

How This Site Is Organised

There are six sections. Here’s what’s in each one and the order I suggest going through them:

1. 📘 Trading for Beginners

Start here if: you’re new to trading, crypto, or stocks and need to understand the basics before anything else.

What you’ll find: terminology, how markets work, the difference between crypto and stocks, how to open an account, and which platforms work for traders in different countries.

👉 Browse Trading for Beginners

2. 🧠 Trading Psychology

Start here if: you’ve already got the basics down but keep making emotional decisions — or you want to build the right habits before bad ones take hold.

What you’ll find: how your brain works against you when real money is on the line, how to build discipline, how to handle losses, and why most trading mistakes aren’t strategy mistakes at all.

This is the section I wish I had found first.

👉 Browse Trading Psychology

3. 💰 Money & Risk Management

Start here if: you want to understand how to protect your capital before you start risking it.

What you’ll find: position sizing, stop losses, reward-to-risk ratios, drawdown rules, and the frameworks I use to make sure one bad trade doesn’t wipe out a week of good ones.

👉 Browse Money & Risk Management

4. 📈 Trading Strategies

Start here if: you’ve covered the foundations and are ready to look at actual trade setups.

What you’ll find: the strategies I use personally — swing trading for multi-day positions and scalping the US market open. All designed around a limited evening schedule.

👉 Browse Trading Strategies

5. 🛠 Trading Apps & Platforms

Start here if: you need to set up your tools — charting software, exchanges, brokers.

What you’ll find: honest reviews of the platforms I actually use, with notes on fees, features, and which ones are accessible depending on where you’re based.

👉 Browse Trading Apps & Platforms

6. 📓 Trading Journal

Start here if: you want to see how I apply everything in real trades.

What you’ll find: every trade I take, logged openly — entry, exit, reasoning, and what I took away from it. Wins and losses both.

👉 Browse the Trading Journal

The Recommended Reading Path

If you’re starting from scratch, here’s the order I would follow:

Step 1 → Pick your market — Crypto Basics or Stock Basics Step 2 → Understand Trading Psychology before anything else Step 3 → Learn Money & Risk Management before placing a single trade Step 4 → Set up your Tools & Platforms Step 5 → Study Trading Strategies that fit your schedule Step 6 → Follow along in the Trading Journal to see it in practice

Essential Reading

I’ve handpicked the most important posts across the site — one or two from each section — that every new trader should read regardless of their experience level.

A Note on How This Site Works

Everything here is based on personal experience. I’m not a financial advisor and nothing on this site is financial advice. I’m a busy professional who trades in the evenings and documents everything — the good, the bad, and the expensive lessons.

This site grows as I learn.
